Nathaniel Hayes was no ordinary high school student. Then, one night, while experimenting with an advanced fractal simulation program he had coded himself, it happened.

His screen flickered. The simulation outputted an equation that should not exist—a mathematical construct that extended beyond time, defying entropy, stretching beyond infinity itself. It wasn’t just a number. It was a signal.
